Floyd graduated from this life on January 11, 2012. He was born September 2, 1928 in Moroni, Utah to Ernest Floyd Morley Sr. and Urva Blackham Morley. Due to his father's occupation, the family moved throughout the west, finally settling in Ely, Nevada.

After graduating from White Pine High School, he attended University of Nevada Reno, returning home to embark in a life-long career in the grocery business. One of Floyd's greatest joys was mentoring and teaching those interested in this industry.

Floyd married Virginia Viola Bell on July 16, 1950 in Ely. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 19, 1952. Floyd and Virginia had four children and spent much of their time in family gatherings and supporting their children's activities.

Floyd was a faithful member of LDS Church where he had many opportunities to serve. He especially loved serving as a Priest Quorum Advisor, Branch President at Alpine Valley Care Center, and worker at the Mt. Timpanogos Temple.

Virginia passed away on February 21, 2002. Floyd married Rita Carol Meldrum Christensen on October 8, 2002. They had many enjoyable years together traveling, working in the temple, and enjoying their great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Carol of Pleasant Grove; four children: Janet (Jerry) Hubbs, American Falls, ID; Craig (Karen) Morley, Kaysville, UT; Carl (Debra) Morley, Sandy, UT and Donna (Jim) Davis, Sandy, UT; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary (Garey) Harrison, Ely, NV and niece, Terry (Frank) Romans, Las Vegas, NV. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Virginia; nephew, Todd Harrison and niece, Michelle Harrison.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove Ninth Ward Chapel, 455 East 200 South, Pleasant Grove. Family and friends may attend a viewing Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Monday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, Salt Lake City, UT. Condolences may be sent to the family at
